Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 October 2026
By using Kharcha you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Kharcha lets you record cash in and out in books, organise them in businesses, share them with your team, set payment reminders and download reports.
2. Your account
Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity in your account and for the people you add to your business and the permissions you give them.
3. Your data
Records in a business belong to its owner. Make sure you're allowed to store the contact details of parties you add, and to send them reminder messages.
4. Plans and payments
Paid plans are activated after we verify your UPI payment. Plans run for the number of days shown and don't renew automatically. When a plan ends you move to the Free plan. Existing data stays, but you may not be able to add more than the Free limits. Payments are not refundable except where required by law.
5. Fair use
Don't misuse the service. That means no accessing other accounts, no attacking the server, no spam SMS or emails through reminders, and nothing illegal. We may ban accounts that do this.
6. Not financial advice
Kharcha is a record-keeping tool. Totals depend on what you enter. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
7. Availability and backups
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but can't promise it will never be unavailable. Download backups regularly from Business Settings.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using or not being able to use the service, or from alerts that are delayed or not delivered.
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will change the date above. You can delete your account at any time.
10. Law
Indian law applies. Courts in Your City, Punjab, India have jurisdiction.
